9. What does the settlement provide?
NVIDIA has agreed to provide a replacement of the NVIDIA GPU or MCP to Class Members who purchased certain versions of some Dell, Inc. or Apple Inc. notebook computers that contain an NVIDIA chip and who send in a valid Claim Form and appropriate supporting documentation.
NVIDIA has also agreed to provide a fund in the amount of $2,000,000 to provide reimbursements if you purchased a version of one of the notebook computer models identified in the Full Notice that contains an NVIDIA GPU or MCP during the dates listed in the Full Notice experienced certain identified symptoms, and have appropriate documentation proving that you paid to have the notebook computer repaired. The amount of reimbursement may depend on the number of reimbursement claims received.

Same happened to me, but a hard restart somehow helped. :confused:
It's good and bad. It fixed the problem, but now I can't reproduce my steps to recreate the problem for a bug report. Try to file a bug report if possible.

Does anybody know why?
P.S. I get about 1/3 the normal battery life running XP, 1/2 running Vista, and 2/3 running an unsupported OS - Windows 7 - on my MBP.

Is there a case for the iPod touch 2nd generation where the back of the case looks like the back of an iPhone except for the camera hole part. (LOL) but like seriously is there such a thing for sale online? :confused:

a G3 iBook would be best, IMO.
The airport cards can be hard to find, and be sure to max out the ram.
I had one, then it got passed to my bro, and it's still chugging along. Just watch out for logic board probs. :)

They probably saw a large slowdown in sales b/c of defectors to google reader, etc, etc. Now, they are just looking to leverage their user base and get it installed on as many Macs as possible.

It's a good guess. I was a happy NNW user, but despite having paid for the software, I still switched to Google Reader about a year ago. I tried out the new version of NNW, but there are really no features compelling enough to get me to switch back. Now if they come out with native iPhone version I might change my mind (I'm still not thrilled with Reader's Phone interface).

+1 for ifixit and I'm sure there are many others with the same opinion.
I have not had good luck with sunvalleytech. They shipped a faulty Powerbook G4 power brick and didn't respond to emails.

The southpark mall in Charlotte NC opens at 6am and only one door opens at that time. So I am getting there around 5:30am. Maybe I'll get lucky and no one will show up that early :)

Even a point'n'shoot camera will yield better results than a cell phone gimmick. Unless all I wanted to do was take illicit snapshots of the price of canned corn in a grocery store's tinned vegetables aisle... grocery stores say they don't like people taking pictures of things in their stores...

Client uses Quark 8.5 and wants files in this format, so I've downloaded the trail version of Quark 9. How do I save this back? I had a poke about and figured file > export > layouts as project > pick version 8. Will this work in 8.5?

i noticed better battery life today using my phone regularly as well as a MP3 player. it was minimal but a nice enough change to notice.

Today a girl at school saw my iPod (on case, that is) and screamed "Oh my God, the iPhone 4, I'm holding it on my hands! You are so lucky!" Seems I don't have to make any effort :D

Post the exact error message. An "invalid selector" error usually shows the exact selector expected.

I have a 15" PBG4 1.25ghz and am having some screen artifacts show up. Everything is running fine otherwise. I haven't used this machine at all in months and I'm trying to clean it up to sell it. Any info would be helpful.
