I think 3gs is very smooth, didnt see any lag so far and i am playing with it a lot.
The reason i couldnt buy ip4 is its price here in Turkey, it is around 1300USD.
Hopefully i will switch to iphone 5 in september if i can buy from the UK as simfree version. Are simfree versions available with the first launch? Or they wait carriers to sell enough contracts first?

The date is getting closer, we need to decide a place, can we make it a Starbucks or something, it IS San Francisco! I will be there for sure.

XCode 4 looks like its going to take a big step foward. Hopefully as large as the one between ProjectBuilder and XCode.
I'm really looking forward to this. Any know of a possible release date?
I think WWDC or a Apple iOS Event Preview (so 2011), Apple will likely make sure they get it right and release that along with the new iOS 5 or Mac OS X 10.7.
Apple is in no rush to hurry something as important as this. A buggy IDE = Fail for Apple and a slow down in iPad iPhone iTouch and Mac Apps.

There can be a very long wait between alpha and being 'delivered to us', not to mention mobile substrate needs to be updated to work with iOS 4.3. If it's not the whiners asking when it will be available, it's people jumping to conclusions that it's 'just waiting to be delivered to us.'

Wake me up when they lose the #1 title. Besides, all the cable news channels are crap here. From Beck's nonsense to Chris Matthews getting a tingle up his leg with Obama, I've found little worth paying for. Dropped cable last year, and haven't missed the news channels a bit. (All I'm left wanting is coverage of my local MLB team).

Now, just a question, if you are in Florida, and you are willing to get "some" data, why not just stay with AT&T, since most likely the the phone you get from the store will not be unlock able, and maybe even get the contract... so you can get the phone cheaper too... I don't know, but to me, it seems like the best option, but I might be missing something...

This is wierd
I came past 10 minutes ago and there were about 20 people outside maybe more
I went looking for breakfast, came back and now there's only 7 people between me and the front of the queue
(an some guy is scrubbing the pavement clean)
either they are batch processing the early arrivers OR there was a big fight and the guy is scrubbing away the blood

I would say that OS 9 was Apples Vista and that was over 10 years ago.
Things I like about SL:
+1 I gained back about 20 gig on a 160 gig drive.
+1 App store. Yes I like the app store and the only thing I have mixed feelings about is it wants to put everything I buy in the dock. That's not gonna last long.
+1 $29. It's been a long time since I got a new OS for only $29. No wait. Never. This is the first time I've got a new OS this cheap without going through some OEM or student status ritual.
+1 Dock. I like the tweaks SL brought to the way the dock works.
Things I don't like about SL:
-1 Less stable than Leopard but the biggest culprits I found for making my machine lose its mind were: Firefox 3.x, Eyefi center (previous version), Handbrake (previous version). On the latest versions of these programs I rarely see that dastardly beach ball.
-1 More about stability. I seem to get more "quit unexpectedly" issues under SL than I used to see under Leopard.
-1 Speed. I find SL to be efficient compared to Windows but it seems to be slightly slower than Leopard on the same hardware.
As for iWork, iTunes and Steam having issues, I haven't used Steam but I do find iTunes to be less than stable no matter what OS you use it on. iWork, OTOH has been rock solid for me. I also use LibreOffice and my wife uses MS Office 2011 all of which are stable on SL.

Well, the technicle side is flawless as it validates as perfect XHTML 1.1 along with CSS. Yay! The design is also nice and relaxing, the colors are easy on the eyes, and I have seen no bugs in Firefox 1.5 RC3. Double yay!

i am interested in the ram from the powermac, is it two 512mb sticks or 4 256mb sticks or a 1Gb stick, if it is a 512mb i am definitely interested for my dad!
