I'm a total amateur and much older, but the advice above about the smoothness of the pans seems spot on. Watching the hot chicks video (the only one I watched) there was just so much motion it was almost dizzying.

IIRC, the Quadro is the same as the 7800, but with a port for a stereo-3D headset.
I've got a 6600 in my PowerMac G5 and it's certainly whisper quiet since it doesn't have a fan. I'm considering an upgrade to an ATI X1900, though. I've got an X1900XT in my Mac Pro at work and I'm more than modestly pleased with it, but the 6600 is more than adequate for what I need at home.
So, the Quadro fx 4500 is noisy like the 7800 GT? I mean, this 7800 GT is noisy as noise is spelt: N O I S E!!

wasn't many people there really - once they let everyone in, i think everyone who was queuing all fit inside the shop.
not sure how it went for contract people, but i got my PAYG one really quickly. left with the phone activated and in my pocket before 08:40 i recon

Only three things come to mind:
1) That you are inadvertently calling mysqli_close somewhere before a query or ping, maybe in one of your includes.
2) You are overwriting $conn somewhere else.
3) Some PHP bug in an older version of PHP perhaps. Are you guys running on CentOS / RHEL? If so I would suggest upgrading to 5.2 from the testing repos and see if that helps.
I could see the close or even possibly an overwrite happening. At the same time, that is kinda what I want to be able to detect with one of the cases mentioned above.
It's a compiled-from-source version of PHP 5.3.5.

That article is rather inaccurate. The Killzone footage was pre-rendered, for one� the graphics of both consoles will not be too terribly different, save on exclusives.

You phone searching for a tower to "talk" to is VERY hard on the battery. This is likely your major problem.
thats what I thought it was, I will have to put it into airplane mode more to solve this problem, but I still do believe there is a problem with the battery so I will do a restore for good measure just to be sure.

otherwise, just wanna say that this sucks. i like a lot of streaming audio sources, and i prefer qt/itunes whenever possible. those choices seem to be winnowing, not expanding. :mad:

Continue using your iPhone until the thing shuts off by itself. Then plug it in and let it charge back up completely. If after this you're still having issues with your battery, shut off your bluetooth, push email, etc and see if that helps. Still having issues with your battery, then take it to the Apple store and see if they can help, or get you a replacement iPhone.
